Master Spas and Pleatco have introduced a brand new filtration system to keep your hot tub clean and healthy. A hot tub, with its high temperatures and waterflow, needs an effective filtration system to keep the water clean and sparkling.
Previously, Master Spas has used filters with multi-stage filtration techniques similar to Mother Nature and the EcoPur Charge filtration system. These systems rely on a blend of copper and zinc at the core of the filter to create clean water. The chemical core creates an electrochemical reaction. This reaction eliminates microorganisms and more heavy metals from the water, keeping it safe, clean, and healthy.
Changing a hot tub filtration system
The EcoPur Charge is still made from Master Spas’ patented filtration fabric. The change is that instead of a pleated design, like the original EcoPur filter, the fabric is wound tightly to create a catalytic cell. The fabric cell is surrounded by a “spring core” which promotes water flow. This core is engineered to maximize the flow of the water by allowing for an even flow of water through the entire filter to allow for an even distribution of dirt and debris rather than just collecting where the holes are.
As the water from a hot tub comes into contact with the filter system a chemical reaction causes zinc and copper hydroxides to form in controlled amounts. These chemical reactions kill bacteria and create a hostile environment for algae and fungal growth.
Spend less time cleaning
We want you to spend less time cleaning and worrying about the quality of your hot tub water and more time enjoying your hot tub. With the new filtration system, the water will be consistently clean and healthy and you can relax and enjoy your hot tub.
These new filter systems will be introduced into all 2017 Master Spas hot tubs and swim spas and can be retrofit into previous years models. Come into Niagara Hot Tubs today to check out our selection of Master Spas hot tubs and swim spas!
